Acoustic Fingerstyle For Beginners

Hey everyone, this week I go through a couple of very simple fingerpicking exercises in the key of G.

The chords being used are as follows:

 

The first pattern is in 6/8 time (count 123456) and uses a thumb, index, middle, ring, middle, index finger order for the picking hand.

The second pattern is in 4/4 time and utilizes a thumb, index, thumb, middle finger order.
